Lyrics

Did my life feel like a silent movie?
The leading man dressed in black and white.
But what I couldn’t see in the shadows,
Gave it’s secrets when exposed in the light.

I’ve been waiting for these colors,
A chroma I can’t say I’ve seen before.
I’ve been hating when it’s over,
As I’m getting used to having more.

And now I’m wading in these colors,
A chroma I can’t say I’ve seen before.

What was it like before I felt this?
Could there ever be a way I could know?
I’d only witnessed a faint outline,
But there were further dimensions buried below.

I’ve been waiting for these colors,
A chroma I can’t say I’ve seen before.
I’ve been hating when it’s over,
Because I’m getting used to having more.

And now I’m wading in these colors,
A chroma I can’t say I’ve seen before.
