Sean Cleland is a performing and recording musician based out of Honolulu, HI.  He is a songwriter, guitarist, vocalist, and multi-instrumentalist.  His solo act focuses on original and cover songs that fall within a rock, soul, blues, and folk aesthetic.  His band, the Hollow Spheres, blends together elements of alternative rock, britpop, the fab four, and jazz rock.  He has released a solo album entitled "The Winter Room" (2009), as well as an EP with the Hollow Spheres entitled "Silence Speaks Louder" (2010).  They are available digitally on iTunes and CD Baby.  His other regular projects are with acoustic soul vocalist Tahiti Rey (Na Hoku nominee) and all-original indie rock band Linus.  He plays regularly in Honolulu and other areas on Oahu.  He has also traveled to the Big Island, Kauai, and Japan to perform.  Sean is available for private events as well. -From 2009 to 2011, Sean led the rock trio The Hollow Spheres.  Their track "Lights" was recently included on the “Alternative HI” compilation album (recorded at Soul Sound Records by Shawn Moseley and Brandon Apeles, and distributed internationally by Mountain Apple Company) and gets played regularly on Star 101.9 FM.
